Weekly Update #14

I lost 1.6 lbs this week I was aiming for 4.7 lbs loss. I’m not disappointed by the amount of the weight loss because hey its a loss and my body usually likes to take a break after massive drops like last week. I could have probably had a much better loss this week but I’m currently working on finding that balance in my life when it comes to food as I am approaching my goal weight. I worked out 6 days last week and burned an average of 1937 calories per day in exercise. I’m really proud of my workouts this week I was doubting I could even hit my 1888 calorie burn goal from last week and I managed to blow those out of the water. I have the treadmill at full tilt as of this week which is an accomplishment in it of itself considering I could barely handle 20 min at 1.8 miles per hour at zero incline back in February of this year when I started going to the gym.

Goal for this week is to consume no more than 1702 calories per day. Burn an average of 1984 calories per day (is a lot and highly unlikely considering the holiday this week but I will do my best) in exercise over 6 day period. Weight loss goal is to lose 4.9 lbs.

Weekly Update #13

I lost 6 lbs this week I was aiming for 4.4 lbs loss. I worked out 2 days last week and burned an average of 1604 calories per day in exercise. Nice to see that my hard work paid off and that the progress that I have made has made it possible to bounce back. Again I really need to take some time to adjust my progress goals specially after this last weeks gain because my spreadsheet calculations are a little extreme as you can see by this weeks goal. I’ve been busy at work and with family as we are approaching the Christmas Holiday so it has taken a bit of a toll on my free time. Glad to say that I’ve managed to stay committed to my workouts and nutrition through it all. I’d say that this is due mostly because it serves as a stress reliever and an opportunity to focus on my needs and well being.

Goal for this week is to consume no more than 1694 calories per day. Burn an average of 1888 calories per day (is a lot and highly unlikely) in exercise over 6 day period. Weight loss goal is to lose 4.7 lbs.

Weekly Update #12

I gained 7.4 lbs this week I was aiming for 3.9 lbs loss. I worked out 2 days last week and burned an average of 1516 calories per day in exercise. So what happened you might ask. Well I was terribly sick last week. As is evident by weight gain my nutrition and fitness was none existent. I ended up having to eat out a lot because I was not able to get out much so my food choices were less than ideal. I’m not devastated or anything because of the gain which I think is a positive change. I could easily imagine that in the past I would completely fall apart and get depressed but I know that this weight will drop off and this week will be but a blip on the chart. I really need to take some time to adjust my progress goals specially after this last weeks gain because my spreadsheet calculations are a little extreme as you can see by this weeks goal.

Weekly Update #11

I lost 1.6 lbs this week I was aiming for 3.9 lbs. I worked out 5 days last week and burned an average of 1420 calories per day in exercise. Consumed an average of 1300 – 1700 calories per day. I’m incredibly pleased that there was no weight gain as a result of Thanksgiving Holiday food. I was mindful of what I ate but not to the point that prevented me from enjoying the day. I’m about 15 weeks away from my birthday and about two weeks away from the halfway point of this weight loss push. Losing weight has been slowing down and I’m thinking I will need to reconsider changing or extending my weight loss goal so that it sticks to a more realistic and healthy weight loss pace.

Goal for this week is to consume no more than 1701 calories per day. Burn an average of 1430 calories per day in exercise over 6 day period. Weight loss goal is to lose 3.9 lbs.
